SHERA MAE PATRICIO

SHERA MAE PATRICIO

My name is Shera Mae Patricio, I am born and raised on the island Oahu, Hawaii. I wasn't always a boxer, I was once a swimmer, gymnast, and boxer. The first sport I got into was gymnastics and continued to do it for ten years. I was on the competitive team and over the years I have increased in the levels. Besides gymnastics I have done swimming. I started when I was little, I was learning how to swim but then I developed into the sport and started to compete on the swim team for 2 years. In 2017, I joined the Kapolei Hurricanes wrestling team and qualified to wrestle for states in Maui. For boxing, I wouldn't have thought that I would be traveling and competing around the world. At first my dad taught me boxing only for self defense, but then later in 2015 it started to get serious after I won in the Ringside World Tournament. I am the first female in Hawaii to win the Junior Olympics Tournament 2x back to back. In this sport I have been breaking records and making big accomplishments over the years. Now I can't wait to see what is ahead for me in boxing and what accomplishments will be made.
